Saudi Games 2023 Registration Closes as Trials Kick off Across the Kingdom

[Riyadh], [21, June,2023] – The Organizing Committee for the Saudi Games announced that the registration period for the second edition of the Saudi Games came to close last Monday, signaling the start of the trials phase for the highly anticipated national sporting extravaganza taking place between November 26 to December 10, 2023.

 

Trials will take place in ten cities across the Kingdom until September 30th in 21 sports: Archery, Athletics, Beach Volleyball, Baloot, Billiards, Cycling, E-sports, Golf, Indoor Rowing, Sailing, Paddle Boarding, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Squash, Table Tennis, Triathlon, Taekwondo, Paralympic Weightlifting, Paralympic Gymnastics, Muay Thai, and Motorsports.

 

The first edition of the Saudi Games, which took place from October 27 to November 7, 2022, saw the participation of over 6,000 athletes and 2,000 technical and administrative supervisors, representing over 200 clubs from across the Kingdom, who competed for gold in 45 sports. It included five Paralympic sports, both individual and team, and approximately thirty-one sports facilities equipped to host competitions.
